The practice of Touching the Earth...
is to recognize that we are not alone but connected.
We touch the earth to let go of the idea that we are separate and to remind us that we are the Earth and part of Life.

Comments from class Participants:

"My experience in your class has been wonderful.
I take home what I learn in class and use it throughout the day .
My posture and ease of movement have greatly improved.
Without your yoga class I think I would've been permanently impaired by my illness."

"Instead of no pain no gain, it's no pain alot to gain!"

"A journey of self awareness, of how subtle movements can free me from pain, make my recovery from injury faster, can improve my posture making walking easier."

"After my Feldenkrais class I am always more centered, relaxed, even and grateful.
(I would go to a Feldenkrais session over chiropractic.)"

" I am becoming more aware of where there is tension in my body (especially my shoulders) and what I can do to relieve it through the Feldenkrais hour each week.
My posture is always greatly improved at the end of each session.
Yoga is helpful, but the Feldenkrais session helps me become aware of how my extremities and spine and head relate to each other 'mechanically.' "

Comments from Participants in Functional Integration sessions:

"I'm continually astounded at the changes in me from such small, simple, gentle movements! I'm so much more aware of how I move!"

"I was convinced that the way I carried my body was like my body's fingerprint - fixed and unchangeable. Now I find out that's not so- it's been pretty remarkable!
People are noticing the changes too. It gives me hope for other changes as well.
When I see this kind of change resulting from my Feldenkrais sessions, it helps me be optimistic about change in other parts of my life. At this age, that's pretty cool."
